About

I am a Dutch photographer and researcher currently based in a small town close to Amsterdam. My long-term projects focus on human-animal relationships.

My connection with and care for animals is deeply rooted. I grew up in an environment where animals are always welcome and considered beloved family members.

My belief that our interaction with animals provides insight into the human condition is an important element in my work. I have an investigative approach. I observe, analyze, photograph, and interview. Motivated by my desire to better understand how we relate to animals and why, I research different perspectives with an open mind.

During my studies, I worked on a research-based project about a water well in my backyard. Lately, I've been more interested in projects exploring the relationship between animals and humans. My most recent and ongoing work is my multi-year project about animal cloning, called Unlimited Editions.

I am a member of Split Collective.
